Prof. Bernard K. Nassiuma obtained a PhD in Entrepreneurship Development from Kenyatta University, Kenya in 2010 and a master of philosophy in Entrepreneurship from Moi University in 2003. Currently he holds the position of an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship Development. Has taught and supervised postgraduate and undergraduate students. He was appointed, external examiner of a PhD thesis for a student in Copper belt University, Kitwe, Zambia and currently an external examiner for entrepreneurship in Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and technology. He has developed online modules for teaching at undergraduate level, in addition to curriculum development from diploma to PhD levels.

Previously, he held the position of the chairman of Entrepreneurship Department. Currently he is a Business Development specialist for the university innovation incubator. Has coordinated the development of the Moi University’s employability strategy for the entrepreneurship course. Prior to joining Moi University in 2009, he was a Chief Trade Development officer in the Ministry of Trade, Kenya responsible for enterprise development. He has authored over 27 refereed journal articles and three books. He is a reviewer of entrepreneurship books and over 3 scientific journals.
