Important notice: rules to access the campus for on-site attendees

On the basis of the Italian national law, to access events and conferences, it is mandatory to have a “EU Digital Covid Certificate” or an equivalent certificate recognized by the Italian Ministry of Health. See here for further information

The equivalent vaccination certificate accepted are those issued by Canada, Japan, Israel, United Kingdom and United States and related to one of the four vaccines approved by the European Medicines Agency (Comirnaty from Pfizer-BioNtech, Moderna, Vaxzevria, Jansen from Johnson & Johnson).

In case you do not have the EU digital Covid certificate or an equivalent vaccination certificate, you can have access to facilities only in case you have a 48 hours green pass issued after a negative swab test. This means that if you are planning to attend all the three days of the conference without a vaccination certificate, you will need to run one swab test before the conference and another at the end of 48 hours, when the first green pass will be expired.

According to the Italian law, in case of lack of the vaccination certificate or of the 48 hours green pass obtained with the swab test, you will not be allowed to enter the university.

On-site attendance

Priority of on-site attendance will be given:

  • to participants who have a submitted and accepted abstract to the conference
  • by date of registration.

Those who do not have an abstract to be presented, will receive a “conditional registration” and will be confirmed or declined on-site participation on the 15th July.

  • Early Bird Fee (deadline extended to July 6, 2021)
    • 260€ + VAT 22% (317.20€) for Student/PhD
    • 330€ + VAT 22% (402.60€) for Delegate
  • Standard Fee:
    • 310€ + VAT 22% (378.20€) for Student/PhD
    • 390€ + VAT 22% (475.80€) for Delegate
  • Gala Dinner:
    • This option is no longer available due to sanitary measures. The Dinner fee will be reimbursed to those who purchased it in advance.

On-line attendance

The virtual conference remains open to everyone.

    • 50€ + VAT 22% (61.00€) for Delegate

The venue of the conference is the main campus of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, situated in Largo Agostino Gemelli 1, Milan. You will find the registration desk at the main entrance. Our staff will welcome you and show you the way to the rooms.

Please note: Milan’s public transport system is divided into fare zones. If you need to travel by underground, bus, tram or railway within the inner area of the city, you may purchase the “Ordinary ticket Mi1 – Mi3”, the “Daily ticket” (24 hours since the validation), or the “3-Day Ticket” (72 hours since the validation). If you need to reach the suburbs of the city (outside the Mi1-Mi3 area), you will need a ticket extension.
